Fan Shuangmei
Fan Shuangmei was born into a ceramic family. In 1980, she followed her father into the People's Porcelain Factory to learn the underglaze blue and white technique. She is now a master of traditional Chinese arts and crafts, a master of arts and crafts in Jiangxi Province, a senior arts and crafts artist in Jiangxi Province, an inheritor of the intangible cultural heritage (representative of blue and white water division) in Jiangxi Province, a member of the Jiangxi Artists Association, the deputy secretary-general of the Jingdezhen Artists Association, a director of the China Ceramics Association, and the deputy secretary-general of the Jingdezhen Youth Artists Association. In 1984, she was admitted to the Jingdezhen Ceramics Workers University to study arts and crafts design, and received careful guidance from contemporary masters such as Lu Ru, Zhang Xuewen, and Ning Gang. She is currently a senior craftsman in the Blue and White Research Room of the Jingdezhen Ceramic Art Research Institute. Her works, the Lotus Charm Series, the Grass Insect Series, and the Peony Series have won national awards many times. Her works have been collected by the National Museum and the China Arts and Crafts Museum, and are deeply loved by blue and white enthusiasts and collectors. She has been published and introduced in national, provincial, and municipal media such as "China Collection", and her works collection "China Porcelain Charm" has been published. He once accompanied the Ministry of Culture to Egypt and Saudi Arabia to participate in the Chinese Culture Week activities, where he performed painting on site and won praise from international friends during the cultural exchange.
