Hu Jiesheng
The First Ceramic Art Master of Jiangxi Province

Hu Jiesheng, a master of traditional Chinese handicrafts, the first ceramic art master of Jiangxi Province, and a senior arts and crafts artist of Jiangxi Province. He graduated from Jingdezhen College, the Department of Fine Arts of Jiangxi Normal University, and is the inheritor of the intangible cultural heritage of Jingdezhen blue and white landscape. He is a student of the National Academy of Painting's advanced training class tutored by Cai Chao, a model worker of Jingdezhen City, an executive director of the Jiangxi Ceramics Association, a member of the Jiangxi Artists Association, an executive director of the Jiangxi Federation of Returned Overseas Chinese, and a visiting professor of Jingdezhen Ceramics Vocational and Technical College. His works are mainly blue and white with splashed ink. The color of the materials is glossy and thick. The brushwork is bold and unrestrained, magnificent, profound, and full of ink and water. His works have won many awards at art fairs at home and abroad, and are favored by collectors, especially in 2010, when the CCTV "Art China" column team interviewed and reported on his blue and white works with splashed ink. He is currently employed at the Porcelain Capital Art Museum.

The work "Qingli Shengjing" won the gold medal of the "Tiangong Art Garden Baihua Cup" master's work at the West Lake Expo;
The work "The Clouds and the Sound of the Piano" won the gold medal of the "First Millennium Porcelain Capital Cup" National Calligraphy and Painting Grand Prix in China;
The work "Quxi Mucao Fragrance" won the gold medal of the 2012 "Jiangxi Spring Art Exhibition".
The work "Natural Charm" won the gold medal of the China International Cultural Industry Expo;
"Mountain Village Green" won the gold medal of the Shanghai International Art Festival;
"Shushan Fisherman's Song" was selected for the second "China Modern Arts and Crafts Exhibition";
"Mountain Fog and Air Wet People's Clothes" won the gold medal of the first "Millennium Porcelain Capital Cup" National Calligraphy and Painting Competition in China;
"High Mountains and Clouds, Hometown Feelings" won the gold medal of the China Arts and Crafts Masters Boutique Expo for Innovation Art;
"Waterfall" won the silver medal of the "Maritime Silk Road Cup" National Grand Prix;
"Deep Forest" won the silver medal of the "China Art Cup" National Grand Prix;
"Red Lotus" won the gold medal of the first "Buddhist Art Expo";
